eYOU in the EU

A European event welcoming experts and policy and decision makers from all over Europe to gain insight into the current digital market and its developments: which innovations are expected, what are relevant business cases and how about privacy?

European governments are working hard to facilitate digital citizenship and entrepreneurship within the various agendas aiming at a digital single market with cross-border identification and authentication possibilities. Where are we today and what is happening in the private, academic and corporate sectors in relation to these developments?

Dutch EU Presidency and IDnext

During the first half of 2016, the Netherlands will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. This will be an opportunity to shape the EU agenda with specific attention to supporting the development of electronic identification and trust services in order to deliver secure and seamless cross-border electronic transactions (supported by the eIDAS regulatory framework and the CEF implementation, in particular e-Send and STORK), and to innovate and strengthen the Digital single market strategy of the European Commission.

As an associated organization of the Dutch EU presidency, IDnext organizes this European event to discuss, debate and provide guidance, support and insights regarding the real world developments of this single digital marketplace. And how to enable seamless cross-border trade and transactions in a fair and competitive digital single market while connecting and protecting citizens.

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to the eYOU in the EU event that will take place on 14 June. eYOU in the EU is a European event welcoming more than 150 experts and policy and decision makers from all over Europe to gain insight into the current digital market and its developments: which innovations are expected, what lessons can be gleaned from business cases, and how about privacy?
